An end after 32 years
After 32 years working for the same company, I'm looking for work. There just weren't any assignments open at the time my last assignment ended. The last assignment provided some consulting experience in areas outside of the IT area. I found the process control area very interesting and was able to bring a new aspect to my resume.
It's been a great 32 years, with lots of opportunities to learn and advance. Leaving work on Friday was surreal.
Now what left is to decide what path to take. I can (with assistance from the separation package) volunteer at a "not for profit", go back to school, start a business, retire or find new employment.
